Walking down the street the other day, we glimpsed a sign.  A loooonnng list of steamed buns, 1 RMB each (about 16 cents).  The guy in line in front of us was picking up his lunch.  DSC_0217 We’d just come out of a restaurant, having already eaten our own lunch. Nevertheless, we picked out a couple of buns.   DSC_0218 The vegetarian one was surprisingly flavorful.  DSC_0220 But the real prize was the classic pork bun.  DSC_0221 We probably shouldn’t make it a habit of seeking out street food after having already eaten a full meal… But…who could refuse? 16 cents!
